Sausage Muffins - Yummo

These are my favorite muffins. Try them. You’ll see.

  • 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c butter, melted
  • 1/2 c cheddar cheese

* Brown the sausage. Drain and set aside.

* Combine the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and add the milk, egg, and butter. Mix until just moist. Stir in sausage and cheese.

* Spray muffin tin with Pam (even if you use muffin cups, you’ll want to spray them.). Spoon batter into cups.

* Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes, until brown and a fork comes out clean.

    Oh my goodness. They look so good they might soon be illegal.

    And you can freeze them for later! If you have any left over.
