September Project 6

I tried posting this from my phone yesterday, but it doesn’t appear to have gone through properly.

My sister-in-law’s mom invited us to their house for a cookout and pool time yesterday. Griff and Mike went tubing, and I rode in the boat, and Eliza reigned over the pool. Everyone had a wonderful time. So much so that I’m posting a photo of me in a swimsuit.

already seeing things…

I’ve been posting photos of myself for two days now… hardly any time at all… and it’s already good for me, I think. A friend of mine at work was looking at the photos of my phone and asked why I never smile broad enough to show my teeth. Um, easy. When I had my wedding photos taken more than 15 years ago, at a time when I was still very young and slender, the photographer told me not to smile with my mouth open because it made the rest of my face look fat. So I keep my mouth shut when I smile.

This sweet, very young friend said that I looked pretty and should make sure tomorrow’s photo shows my teeth. So I’ll have a big toothy smile tomorrow. We’ll see.
